Robison's client wanted timeless white cabinetry in their laundry room to keep the mood light, airy and clean.  Their laundry space provides an entryway to a bonus room and basement used for entertaining, so consideration to aesthetics was a priority.  The client wanted a special place to house their washer and dryer, while keeping the appliances accessible for maintenance.  Fluted columns accomplished that, designating a space for the appliances and offering passersby a splash of red from the faces of the washer and dryer units.
